“Getting Ready for Phase Five”

You may have heard the recent news that the State of Illinois is likely to move to Phase 5 of the Governor’s “Restore Illinois” plan in the month of June.  This means that there has been a significant decrease in the number of new COVID-19 cases and that a significant number or Illinoisans have been fully vaccinated.  In the new phase, guidelines requiring face masks and social distancing will be lifted for fully vaccinated individuals.

Center for Hope Outreach Programs will observe the new guidelines but will also continue to keep sanitation stations and free disposable face masks available to staff, volunteers and clients.  We will also continue carrying out enhanced cleaning and sanitation processes.  We ask those who are entering our facilities who are not fully vaccinated to continue to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth and to practice social distancing as before.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we begin returning to regular food and clothing distribution practices. We will of course stay posted to CDC and local Health Department guidelines and will adjust accordingly. We wish you and your families a safe and healthy summer!
