Important Changes Regarding Center for Hope Outreach Program’s Services (Please click on any tab above to see full message.) Dear Community Members; Center for Hope Outreach Programs is pleased to announce that we are able to continue providing modified pantry services at both the Hope and Temba Pantries at their regular times. We had thought we might need to close temporarily as we awaited the directive from Governor Pritzker, but as we have continued to get requests from those sorely in need of food and as the Governor’s directives do allow essential workers to continue working, we feel it is best to keep providing for this critical need. Please help us to stay open by adhering to the following guidelines: #1. Please do not come to the distribution site if you are feeling ill, display cold or flu symptoms or if you have recently been exposed to someone who has the corona-virus. #2. Upon arrival, please practice social distancing. Leave 3-6ft between you and the next person. #.3. Wash hands regularly throughout the day and make use of the sanitizing materials as you have opportunity. We too will continue to practice the CDC guidelines including frequent handwashing, sanitizing shared and high use items and practicing social distancing. Staff and volunteers that are ill are asked to stay at home and not serve! We are also temporarily suspending our Kingdom Closet Saturday clothing distributions and will not be receiving clothing donations at this time. We pray God’s blessings and protection over this community and all of its families and residents as well as those who have been impacted by the Corona-virus around the world. We encourage you to spend this time prayerfully as well, looking after your neighbor and showing love and patience to one another. Sincerely,
